Road Wolves Motorcycle Club History
The
Road Wolves Motorcycle Club was founded in November
1984. The four founding members were Ray Brown:
President, Lem Kenley: Vice-President, C.O. McKay:
Road Captain and Ray Weaver: Sgt-at-Arms.
Ray Brown and Lem
Kenley had been members of other D.C. area
motorcycle clubs since the 1970's. C.O. McKay and
Ray Weaver had been partners since junior high
school. The four men began riding together in
February 1984, and decided to form their own
motorcycle club. On a deer hunting trip in November
1984, the four men voted on a name for their club
and adopted the Road Wolves' first By-Laws. Since
then, the four have been brothers for life. In the
New Millennium, the Road Wolves have again hit the
highway. Revitalized by an influx of new members,
the pack is now stronger than ever.
The Road Wolves are
more than a motorcycle club. The Road Wolves are a
Fraternity. The foremost principle of the Road
Wolves do not fraternize with other Road Wolves'
significant others. While punctuality is expected,
family always comes first.
